Ty Jenner takes us through the minutes of what was a tough watch as the Dons were schooled for most of the match, and only made it look respectable with two very late goals.

1’ The Dons get us underway here at a sunny Stadium MK!

2’ Peterborough Goal 0-1 – Posh take the lead through Johnson Clarke-Harris who is unmarked at the back post to fire home early on. Thompson is able to get down the right hand side and fizzes it in to the former Dons striker. A terrible start for the Dons. 0-1.

5’ Dons, yet again look off their game and a level below the visitors. Potentially in for a long afternoon here in the City of Milton Keynes.

7’ Oyegoke gets the ball down the right hand side but his cross only reaches a ‘Borough defender who clears.

9’ A delightful ball from Ward is blocked by O’Hora to prevent Clarke-Harris a clear chance on goal.

12’ Peterborough are quick to take a free kick in the middle of the park. It finds Ward in space who’s effort from range is struck straight at Jamie Cumming.

14’ A brilliant ball reaches Daniel Harvie who brings it down well before crossing to Conor Grant. His effort is deflected out for a corner which is unable to trouble the Posh defence.

15’ A misplaced pass lands at the feet of Fuchs who just runs up the field unchallenged. His shot from the edge of the box was claimed with ease by Jamie Cumming.

20’ A free-kick from far out on the left hand side finds the head of Ward who makes a strong connection but sails wide.

22’ Cumming is forced into a diving save after an effort from the edge of the box. The corner is cleared to the edge of the box but the volleyed effort goes well over the bar.

26’ What a save from Jamie Cumming who Denies a second for Borough and Jones from close range.

28’ Peterborough have the ball in the back of the net after an incredible acrobatic finish . Luckily, the Linesman raises his flag for offside.

36’ Peterborough Goal 0-2 – Peterborough double their lead as Kawme Poku gets on the end of a dinked cross at the far post to tap in from a yard out.

42’ Daniel Harvie keeps the ball alive down the left and manages to tee up an opportunity but his half volley deflects inches wide for a corner.

HALF TIME – MK Dons 0-2 Peterborough United

46’ Peterborough get the second half underway.

49’ Peterborough have the ball in the net once again but for the linesman to save the Dons blushes once again.

52’ Conor Grant tries his luck on the edge of the box, but his curling effort goes just wide.

54’ Peterborough Goal 0-3 – Ricky Jade-Jones pounces on a shocking pass and beats the onrushing Cumming to make it 3.

84’ MK Dons are denied an almost certain penalty but the referee waves away the strong appeals.

88’ MK Dons Goal 1-3 – Daniel Harvie cuts the arrears as he chases the ball over the top before curling his effort home

90’ MK Dons Goal 2-3 – Matt Smith scores immediately after Harvie as he chips the keeper in the box to spark some life in the game.
