There is no getting away from it, regardless of the opposition, home or away, every game is massive for us and the teams around us until the end of the season.
We can only hope that our referee on Saturday is far better equipped to take control of the game than Robert “Bobby“ Madley who we had last week against Wigan Athletic and was shockingly bad, it’s hard to believe that once upon a time he was deemed to be good enough to ref in the Premiership.
On Saturday we see for the second time this season Samuel Barrott from the West Riding of Yorkshire, our last encounter being the 1-1 home draw with Plymouth Argyle in December of this season, for the record Tennai Watson scored the Dons goal.
Mr Barrott has overseen 34 games this season and he appears to love a bit of paperwork booking a huge 135 players so far this season, in addition he has converted 3 of those to double yellow/red offences, dished out 2 straight reds, and awarded 5 penalties.
Ref Barrott will be assisted by Ollie Williams and Paul Lister on the flags, with Adrian Tranter as the 4th Official.
