The long trip up north to Sunderland with dodgy weather forecasted and let’s hope we get a better ref than last weekend against Ipswich Town; he certainly left a lot to be desired.
This week we look to Ollie Yates from Staffordshire to be our new best friend. Ollie has reffed just 19 games this season booking 65 players one of which he upgraded to a double yellow. In addition, he has sent off 2 players and awarded 5 penalties.
The last time we saw Mr Yates was back in the 2019/20 season at home to Bolton a game in which we won 1-0 with Rhys Healey scoring. That was Healey’s 5th consecutive goal and his 11th of the season, strangely guess who was top of the table……yes, Rotherham.
Mr Yates will be assisted by Ravel Cheosiaua and Matt Smith on the flags with Simon Clayton as the 4th Official.
