Saturday’s ref is part of a happy memory for Dons fans as he was the man on the whistle when we won up in Hull 1-0 in February of last season courtesy of a Scott Fraser penalty in the 80th minute after a fierce shot by Matt O’Riley struck a Hull City hand, and the ref pointed to the spot.
So nice to see you again Declan Bourne from Nottinghamshire who has overseen 4 games this term and handed out 14 yellow cards and awarded 1 penalty. Last season ref Bourne officiated at 31 games, handing out 85 yellow cards and just 3 red cards, and awarding 15 penalties.
He is assisted by Chris Husband & Oliver Bickle on the flags, with Adrian Tranter overseeing the 4th Official duties.
