The time has come, the long wait is over, our first home game of the season, and it doesn’t get much bigger than this as League 1 heavyweights Sunderland backed by their travelling army arrive at Stadium MK on Saturday.
In the middle of the park, we have James Bell from Sheffield, and it looks to us to be the first time we have had Mr Bell as an official, in fact this will be only his 3rd season of EFL football. In his first season he just covered National League games, and last season it was a mixture including 13 League 1 games, mainly though it was life in League 2 for Mr Bell.
Last season he covered 31 games dishing out 85 yellow cards and 9 red cards, but we couldn’t find out any data of how often he likes to point at the penalty spot.
Marc Wilson and Gary Maskell will be trying to keep up with play whilst assisting with the flags, and Michael Chard will be trying to keep Lewie off his back as 4th Official.
