REF WATCH – FLEETWOOD

It’s the long trip up to Fleetwood for the team and also the last away game of the season. The man in the middle will be Stephen Martin and the last time we met him was a very memorable occasion for all Dons fans. Not only did we break our extended away run without a win, but we did it at the unlikeliest of venues, yes it was our 2-1 victory against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light in November of this season.

Just in case you need reminding Max Power scored in the 12th minute for the Black Cats, 4 minutes later Cameron Jerome equalised for the Dons, and just after half time Scott Fraser converted a penalty that proved to be the winning goal to end the 20 game winless run.

Mr. Martin has overseen 29 games this season, dishing out 65 yellow cards, 1 double yellow offence, and just 2 red cards, in addition he has awarded 7 penalties.

Ref Martin will be assisted on the flags by Andrew Fox and Matthew McGrath with Simon Mather as the fourth official.
