IN FOCUS SHREWSBURY

Next up on Tuesday night at home is a game we really should be winning against Shrewsbury Town, their record this season is fractionally worse than ours but looking at some of their defeats, this should be a regulation 3 points for Russell and the lads, but as we know we wont be making it look that way despite the fact that Shrewsbury have failed to beat us on the last eight occasions.

Last time round back in February of this year we drew 1-1 up at their place, Rhys Healey scoring after Shrews keeper Joe Murphy spilt a Sam Nombe shot, and we could have gone on and won it with Healey hitting the crossbar from distance, and Nombe hitting the post as the final seconds ticked by.

SHREWSBURY TOWN – THE SEASON SO FAR – The Shrews are currently in 22nd place and struggling with a record of PLAYED 12, WON 1, DRAWN 5, LOST 6, GF 11 & GA 19 with 8 POINTS.
