Once again, we focus on the man in the middle for our game against Crewe at the Alexandra Stadium on Saturday, especially after last weekend and the embarrassing performance of the portly Brett Huxstable and his assistants, and see if we have any history with this weeks contender for the Villain of the Peace.
This week’s possible figure of scorn is Sebastian Stockbridge from Nuneaton.
The last time we encountered Mr Stockbridge was way back in February 2019 in our home game against Newport County in which we won 2-0 where Ouss Cisse and Chuks Aneke gave us the points through goals in the 57th & 89th minute. We could have taken the lead much earlier after a Kieran Agard penalty was foiled by Newport keeper Joe Day.
Alex Gilbey was the only man to receive a yellow card that day.
The result pushed up to 4th place in the League 2 table level on points with Mansfield.
Stockbridge hands out yellow cards at an average of 4.5 per game, goes for the red on average of about once in 6 games, and points to the spot on average of once every 5 games.
Stockbridge is rated at 3.5 stars out of 5 by Transfer Market.com.
Thomas Harty and Gary Hilton are the two Assistants, and the Fourth Official is Karl Evans.
