APPY DAYS ! CLUB LAUNCH THE DIGITAL RED DOT.

Milton Keynes Dons will be launching a new official digital matchday programme for the 2020/21 season – and supporters can get a first look this Saturday on iFollow MK Dons!

The Dons have decided to revolutionise it’s matchday programme, moving from the traditional printed version to an innovative digital style, which takes the form of a pre-match preview show.

This transition marks a step-change in the industry, with MK Dons becoming one of the first EFL clubs since the new Covid-19 outbreak to go fully digital with their matchday programme.

Supporters will be able to view the matchday programme via an official club app – Red Dot – will provide an in-depth match preview, complete with game highlights and extensive player and team analysis, provided by Milton Keynes-based company, Twenty3.

The App will be available to download for the first time ahead of the Sky Bet League One fixture with Ipswich Town next month but supporters can watch an exclusive preview this Saturday on iFollow MK Dons ahead of the meeting with Lincoln City.

Normally priced at £3 per issue, the Club have decided to provide FREE access to the Red Dot programme App for both home and away fans while Covid restrictions are in place.

MK Dons Chairman Pete Winkelman is excited by the new concept, telling mkdons.com: “Programmes have been an important part of football culture and I personally hope this new direction will help them continue to be.

“Faced with the stringent Covid restrictions, a printed programme would have been extremely difficult to produce, deliver and purchase. Therefore, we felt the time was right to invest in new technology so all fans could easily access a matchday programme.”
