A first win in two months for caretaker manager Richie Barkers men, started well with Ed Upson heading MK Dons into the lead before Ben Stevenson grabbed an equaliser for Coventry. A poor clearance from David Martin found Stevenson who scored a 30-yard corker in the 38th minute.

Stevenson went from hero to villain when he was sent off for a high challenge on Dean Lewington which allowed MK Dons to capitalise on their extra man. Coventry failed to clear the ball and Ed Upson put MK Dons ahead with 9 minutes to go.
