Season 2020/2021 FAQs

/

We are sure, just like us, you are looking forward to watching MK Dons back in action.

We understand you will have many questions regarding the new season, some of which we can answer now, others which we will endeavour to answer over the coming weeks as we continue to take advice from the EFL and heed Government guidelines.

Some of our information will be distributed via email, so if you have not already done so, please make sure that the club has your email address, you can do so HERE!

When will supporters be allowed back inside Stadium MK?
The Government’s current guidance is that spectators will be allowed to return to football stadiums from October 1st but with social distancing measures in place. These social distancing measures will reduce the number of supporters permitted inside Stadium MK.

Who will be able to attend games?
Our aim is that Season Ticket Holders renewed by 4th September will be able to attend all permitted* home games (this includes Terrific 10 and Super Six members). Thereafter, subject to availability of seats in the stadium, further new season tickets will be made available at the early-bird price, up to and including Friday September 11th , and following this date at the standard rate.

A number of casual tickets will also be available to MK Dons members. More information will follow during the week commencing 14 September.

*Permitted by Government legislation.

Will I be able to sit in my normal seat?
The Club is currently working on a seating plan following the guidance of both the Sports Grounds Safety Authority and the EFL. We will be in touch with more information on this, during the week commencing 31 August. In the meantime, we will be contacting households where a single Season Ticket Holder exists to establish whether they would like to be seated with another Season Ticket holder within their support or social bubble.

When will I receive my Season Ticket?
The launch of a new ticketing system was planned to coincide with the start of the 2020/21 campaign. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, this has been postponed until next season. Because of this, we ask that you do not dispose of your 2019/20 Season Ticket, which you will need for entry for the 2020/21 season.

Season Tickets for movers, upgrades and category changes (such as adult to senior citizen and under-18s to adult), will be dispatched later on in the season.

Until Covid-19 social distancing restrictions are lifted, a temporary ticket will be issued. All Season Tickets renewed by 4th September will be socially spaced throughout the stadium, as close to, and within the same pricing category, as the Season Ticket holders chosen seat. After this date, any Season Ticket purchased, will be temporarily allocated to the next available socially-distanced space within the stadium. We will be in touch over the coming weeks to provide further details.

Will there be any away supporters?
MK Dons are committed, wherever possible, to welcome away fans to Stadium MK, However our first priority is to make sure we can accommodate all season ticket holders, so more news will follow later.

If home games are played behind closed doors, will I be entitled to a refund on my Season Ticket?
Season Ticket holders will receive a complimentary iFollow pass for any home game played behind closed doors and we will consider further developments as the season progresses in line with Government guidance.

How will you ensure Stadium MK is safe to visit?
We want Stadium MK to be one of the safest, if not the safest venue in the country, and we were fortunate that from June during lockdown, we were able to host a series of high-profile sporting events in the Marshall Arena. We were proud to be called ‘the safest place on earth’ by Barry Hearn – the man behind Matchroom Sport who were responsible for major snooker and darts tournaments which took place, more of which are planned throughout the year. Supporters can expect to see increased cleaning and sanitisation, especially in high throughput areas; socially distanced seating; one-way systems and phased entry and exit times. We have a team working on your safety and we will provide further updates over the coming weeks.
