Pete is chairman of MK Dons and managing director if Inter MK, the property development consortium that was responsible for developing the Denbigh North district of Milton Keynes, which includes Ikea, Asda and stadium mk.

When Wimbledon FC moved to Milton Keynes after going into administration in 2003, Pete led the consortium which bought them out at the end of the season and became the team’s chairman, a position he kept when the board relaunched the team as Milton Keynes Dons Football Club, also giving the side a new all-white strip and a new badge bearing the year "MMIV" (2004).

Pete’s earlier career was in pop music production – he was an executive with the CBS label – and he  



 

also owns the Linford Manor Studios in Great Linford, Milton Keynes.

The first artist to be recorded there was Southside Jimmy (Jim Price), who recorded a number of tracks under a management deal with Harry Maloney, and other artists to have used the studios include Jamiroquai, ELO, Oasis, Wildhearts, PJ Harvey and Matmatah, John Lydon/ Public Image Ltd (album: Happy), Doctor Robert and The Blow Monkeys, Del Amitri, Trevor Horn, Scott Gorham (Thin Lizzy),



 Trevor Horn, Scott Gorham (Thin Lizzy), Sigue Sigue Sputnik, The Alarm, Little Angels, Paradise Lost, Thunder, Tigertailz, Skunk Anansi, Steve Lipsom, John Porte,. Chris Tsangarides, Tony Platt,Simon Efemey and Russ Russell.

Biffy Clyro recorded their second album, The Vertigo Of Bliss, there - and, according to an urban myth, took just 24 hours to do so. The Veils also recorded the majority of their debut album The Runaway Found there in 2003.
