Alex Rae Coach 2009-10, Chief Scout 2012-13

Born in Glasgow on 30 September 1969, Alex started his football career as a youngster at his boyhood heroes Rangers and played in midfield for Falkirk, Millwall, Sunderland, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Rangers (again) and as player-manager for Dundee.

In July 2009 he joined MK Dons, on a
temporary basis with a view to a permanent deal, as first team coach working under his former Wolves teammate Paul Ince, joining him as assistant manager when he moved to Notts County in 2010 and leaving when Ince was sacked in April 2011.

After rejoining the Dons as Chief Scout in 2012, Alex left the club on 21 February 2013 to rejoin Ince when he was appointed Blackpool’s manager. On 21 January 2014, along with Paul Ince, Alex's Blackpool contract was terminated.

In August 2014 he became assistant manager at the Belgian club KRC Genk, working with Alex McLeish.
