Tonights Papa John’s Trophy game at The Memorial Stadium is subject to an afternoon pitch inspection.
With freezing temperatures over the last few days across the UK and with the snowfall that came on Sunday night into Monday morning for large parts of the country there’s no surprise fixtures are at risk of cancellation.
Temperatures in Bristol are currently being reported at -1c with little hope of it rising much above 1c today.
The pitch inspection is scheduled for “this afternoon” ..ahhh the vagaries that surround football..got to love them. We just hope it’s at a reasonable time to allow any Dons fans the opportunity of actually getting there for kick off.
